GREENHOUSE

Our greenhouse was founded in 2012 in district Sandıklı of Afyon and has been working since then. It is a nursery stock production facility located on a 14.500 m2 area, 11.000 m2 of which is closed, equipped with the first and only geothermal heating system in Turkey, automation systems and technological production in the pots (tubes).

NURSERY STOCKS IN POTS (TUBE)

Seed and clone rootstocks are planted in pots and placed in growing environment, following the relevant cultural procedures here, grafting is made on the rootstock in the required thickness and after the grafted material shoots, grows and reaches to some height It is made available with certification system and offered for sale to the grower.

PLANTING NURSERY STOCKS IN POTS (TUBE)

  • Initially the climate, soil and irrigation conditions must be investigated in the garden. The soil must be broke up at depth with subsoiler and then soil should be prepared with ploughing etc.
  • Basic fertilizing should be performed according to soil analysis before planting and the soil should be left for rest.
  • In order to apply a planting plan, planting gap should be determined considering the rootstock to be used, soil type, soil processing and cultivation system to be preferred.
  • After the suitable gap is determined for the farm where the trees will be planted, the place of the trees should be marked with lime or bars considering the pollinator types of the nursery stocks.
  • Holes must be dug on the marked areas in relevant dimensions according to the root type, age and height of the stocks.
  • Without breaking the mass of soil including the root system, the stocks should be placed in holes after taking out of the pots and cutting the long roots.
  • Pay attention that the grafted part isn't placed underground and the hole is filled up completely by pressing not to allow any air inside the soil.
  • Planting is completed after irrigating the soil well.

ADVANTAGES OF PLANTING NURSERY STOCKS IN POTS (TUBE)

  • Wholly healthy roots are formed thanks to the environment sterilized with imported peat, cocopeat and pumice.
  • Roots are soaked in nogal for protection against nematodes by using imported peat, cocopeat and pumice. We also give time-release fertilizers. Therefore, roots resistant to nematodes, bacterial and virus diseases are formed.
  • We ensure almost 100% protection against root cancer (Agrobacterium tumefaciens), one of the common diseases for seen by farmers, by soaking the roots of stocks in a protective solution during planting.
  • Planted stocks exhibit almost 100% success. Thanks to the budding areas of the stocks on the trunk, first pruning size and ramification become much better.
